Gavin Cromwell is hoping for a big show from The Other Mozzie in the valuable Richard Landale Handicap Chase at Kelso this afternoon.

Brian Hughes takes the mount on the Vadamos gelding in the £75,000 event over two-miles-one.

He takes a drop in trip today having weakened at the business end on his return at Cheltenham last month.

The Other Mozzie landed a nice prize for connections on his previous trip abroad, when scoring at Ayr back in April.

Return to Two Miles "More to His Liking"

"He’s dropping back to two miles which I think is more to his liking,” said Cromwell.

"Two and a-half in Cheltenham the last day, for me he just didn't stay. He travelled real well into it to the last and just didn't stay.

"He has (plenty of form over 2m/2m1f), and is a half-brother to My Mate Mozzie who only got the two miles as well.

"Hopefully, he can run well."
