Cromwell's Laska Du Breuil gets off the mark Trainer Gavin Cromwell was doubly represented in the first division of the Frankie Dunworth Memorial Handicap Hurdle over two miles, six furlongs at Limerick and it was Laska Du Breuil (8/1, from 11s) who came out on top. Cromwell's other runner was Embrace The Day, but that 11/2 chance could manage only fifth under Keith Donoghue. Eoghan Finegan gave the winner, owned by the No Response Syndicate, a patient steer and moved him into fourth as the runners bypassed the second-last hurdle. The five-year-old, unplaced in eight previous starts, responded well to a reminder after the last and led close home to post a one-length victory over Moonshine Girl. Finegan explained "It is a bit of a surprise but I was talking to Keith (Donoghue, jockey) beforehand, and he told me to switch him off and to get him settled. He said he ran too fresh with cheekpieces on the last day but switched off today. When that man gives you advice, you have to take it on board. "We didn't go quick which suited me, and he travelled and jumped brilliantly and was very professional. "I'm with Gavin three days a week, in Ciaran Murphy's two and also go into Gerry Keane's another day."   Additional reporting by Tom Weekes
