Cumani To Launch Starcraft Against Rakti Australian import Starcraft will have a baptism of fire on his British debut when he takes on Rakti in the Queen Anne Stakes at Royal Ascot at York next Tuesday. The five-year-old has been given plenty of time to acclimatise since his arrival at Luca Cumani´s Newmarket stables in January but is now ready to take the plunge against the runaway Lockinge Stakes winner. 'The Queen Anne has been the plan for some time and Darryll Holland will ride him,' said Cumani yesterday. 'Horses tend to improve from one race to the next and I´m under no illusion of the task facing Starcraft against Rakti. 'I´m hopeful of a good run and I´m hopeful of progression from it.' Starcraft, a three-time Group One winner, last ran in the Cox Plate at Moonee Valley last October, when he was third to Savabeel. ? PA Sport
