The situation at the Curragh is being monitored with the ground currently heavy and more rain forecast over the weekend.

There is the possibility of 5 to 10mm of rain today and tomorrow ahead of the Flat season opener on Monday afternoon.

Following 1mm of rain overnight, Wexford remains heavy ahead of tomorrow's card.

There is the possibility of a further 5mm (approx) of rain prior to racing and it is set to be mainly dry tomorrow.
