The ground continues to dry out at the Curragh ahead of the Phoenix Stakes on Sunday.

It is now yielding at the Kildare venue, having been yielding to soft yesterday.

The weather is to be dry and warm today and tomorrow with showers forecast overnight on Saturday.

Downpatrick also race on Sunday and the going there is good to firm with selective watering to maintain.

The going at Tipperary is also starting to dry out. Originally described as heavy this morning, it is now soft on the five furlong sprint track and soft (heavy in places) on the round course ahead of this evening's meeting.

Kilbeggan is good, good to yielding in places ahead of the jumps fixture tomorrow night. That represents a significant improvement from the previous description of soft.

The Tramore festival starts next Thursday and the ground there is currently good, good to yielding in places.
