Last year's Hardwicke Stakes winner Await The Dawn could make his first appearance of the season in Europe in Sunday's Coolmore China Ire.Friendship Silver Stakes at the Curragh.

One of Aidan O'Brien's powerful team of older middle-distance horses, Await The Dawn will need to pick himself up from his first outing this year when he finished a distant last in the Dubai Duty Free at Meydan.

O'Brien has also entered Learn, a pacemaker for Camelot in the Racing Post Trophy, and Derrinstown trial runner-up Tower Rock.

Other interesting candidates among the 15-strong entry for this all-aged Listed contest are David Wachman's recent Gowran winner Tannery and prolific types Brog Deas and Midnight Soprano.

Saphire, a potentially improving filly for Dermot Weld, and Sharestan, who was not far behind Windsor Palace and St Nicholas Abbey in the Moresbridge Stakes are others to note.

Clive Cox's Poet is the only British entry.
