Curragh Pattern Races Transferred to Leopardstown The Curragh Meeting which was scheduled for Sunday 10th August 2008 and was cancelled due to waterlogging will NOT be re-scheduled. However, the Ballygallon Stud Debutante Stakes (Group 2), The United Arab Emirates Royal Whip Stakes (Group 2) and The Patrick P. O'Leary Memorial Phoenix Sprint Stakes (Group 3) are transferred to Leopardstown on Sunday 17th August 2008. These three races revert back to the entries after first forfeit stage. Final forfeits and Supplementary Entries for these three races must be made by 12 noon tomorrow, Tuesday 12thAugust, and declarations to run must be made by 10 am on Friday 15th August. As a result of moving the above three races, The Dalkey Fillies Handicap (Race 221A) and The Blackrock Handicap (Race 221G) have been deleted from the original race programme at Leopardstown. This is now an eight race card with the first race due off at 2.15 pm.
