Curragh seeks new sponsor of Guineas The Curragh racecourse is currently seeking new sponsors for both the Irish 1000 Guineas and Irish 2000 Guineas following the decision of Boylesports to end their branding of the two Classics. Boylesports have been associated with the Curragh Classics for six years, but quote a change in their strategic marketing plans for 2010 and beyond as the reason for not renewing their contract. “We have enjoyed a very good working partnership with Boylesports and we are sad to see them go, but we hope we can work with them again in the near future,” said Evan Arkwright, Commercial Manager of the Curragh Racecourse, “We are now in the process to source a new sponsor who will help us further grow and enhance the event.” The Irish Guineas Festival takes place on the 22nd and 23rd May 2010
