Curtis to remain in US

Ben Curtis has announced his intention to continue his career in the US after a successful spell in New Orleans over the winter.

The Corkman rode 43 winners at Fairgrounds racetrack, finishing fourth in the jockeys' championship there.

His success has encouraged him to remain in the US having been based in the UK for the past 10 years.
