Dancing Rain on target for Oaks double Dancing Rain is firmly on target for the Darley Irish Oaks at the Curragh in just over three weeks. William Haggas' charge landed the Investec-sponsored Epsom version of the Classic under an inspired front-running ride from Johnny Murtagh, and faces a rematch with runner-up Wonder Of Wonders on July 17. The trainer told Channel 4's The Morning Line: "She got the run of the race at Epsom but had every opportunity to get beaten by Aidan's filly and stuck on really well. "She handled the track well and got a very soft lead and a great ride but she still won the race and the second came to beat here and we found a bit more. "The plan is to go for the Irish Oaks and she has done very well since the Oaks, physically she's done very well and we'll start doing some proper work with her next week."
