Danny Grant Ban The Stewards enquired into an incident on the bend into the straight in the 4.25 on Wednesday involving Graceful Star, ridden by L.F. Roche, Castle Bar Sling (USA), ridden by D.P. McDonogh, King Royal, ridden by D.M. Grant, and Stoned Immaculate (GB), ridden by J.A. Heffernan. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned and also from Mr. D.K. Weld, L.F. Roche's Master. Having viewed the video of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that D.M. Grant had ridden carelessly and they therefore suspended him for four racedays.
