Curragh trainer Danny Murphy's horses continue in good form and Ballintogher was a six-furlong maiden winner for him at Dundalk on Wednesday.

Murphy feels the gelded son of Gregorian may not be best suited by the Polytrack surface and is looking forward to bringing him back for easy-ground handicaps in the early stages of next year's Flat season .

By contrast, stablemate Eclairage is a proven all-weather performer and the daughter of Kuroshio has won four times at Dundalk with all those victories gained in her customary front-running style.

Murphy said of his charge, who has never raced beyond five furlongs and is rated 93 on the all-weather and 8lb lower on turf: "She's at home for the winter.

"She's a lovely filly and I'm sure she will be a good four-year-old.

"She was fourth in the Group 3 Mercury Stakes (at Dundalk) when I was hoping to get her Group-placed.

"She will definitely be campaigned on the turf as well, she was only beaten two lengths in York (fifth in a Heritage Handicap at the Ebor meeting).

"I've done a little wind op on her and I'd say I will be heading back to England with her on the flat courses and, absolutely, back to Dundalk as well."

Murphy's only runner today is stable debutant This Guy who is prominent in the market for the opening five-furlong nursery at Dundalk at 5.15.

The son of Blue Point, a maiden after five starts, has been gelded since being bought out of Clive Cox's yard for £20,000 in August.
