Dark Emerald camp eye Foxrock race Dark Emerald is likely to have his first run following a wind operation in the Amethyst Stakes at Leopardstown on May 8. Trainer Brendan Powell is eyeing the Group Three contest over a mile for his globetrotting six-year-old, who was campaigned in Dubai during the winter. "He came back, we were going to run him, but he's had a little wind operation," the Lambourn handler said. "He had his first canter back on Monday morning, so he'll probably go to Leopardstown on the eighth of May."
