Dawn Approach is likely to have three more races in his juvenile season.

Jim Bolger's Coventry Stakes winner hit the headlines this week after a controlling share was bought by Godolphin.

Dawn Approach is a son of Bolger's Derby winner New Approach, who was also purchased by Sheikh Mohammed and has made a fantastic start at stud with three Royal Ascot winners in his first season.

Bolger has stated his main aims are likely to be the National Stakes and the Dewhurst at the end of the season with a run before then to set up him nicely.

"Dawn Approach is doing very well and I couldn't be happier with him," said Bolger.

"He's got two main races to be aimed at this season, the Vincent O'Brien National Stakes at the Curragh and the Dewhurst Stakes at Newmarket.

"I suspect that we'll probably run him in the Futurity Stakes (August 25) in an effort to have him at his peak because he takes a lot of work.

"He's a very talented individual."

Dawn Approach is the 12-1 favourite for next year's 2000 Guineas.
