De Aguiar doubles up with Bridge Robson De Aguiar doubled up at Navan this afternoon as Atlantic Bridge ran out a convincing winner of the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Maiden over the minimum trip. Wayne Lordan’s mount tracked Southern Boulevard in the early stages before hitting the front a furlong-and-a-half from home. The well-backed 8/11 favourite (7/4 in morning) stayed on strongly in the final furlong to post a two-and-three-quarter length winning margin. It was third time lucky for the Dubawi Legend colt, who had been fourth on both previous outings at the Curragh. De Aguiar, who had also saddled Supreme Lord to take the opener, said: "Two races on his back and today he's getting more professional. "He has put his head in front, and I think he is going to improve again. He is getting more mature and stronger. "He's a nice horse for the future.
