The Pimlico Racing-owned Lureka Du Noyer gave Henry de Bromhead and Darragh O'Keeffe their first winner of this year’s Tramore Festival in the WTW Willis Rated Novice Hurdle.

A well-supported 5/2 favourite, the five-year-old led on the run to the penultimate hurdle and sealed the deal with a big leap at the last, coming home a length and a quarter ahead of Mark Fahey’s 3/1 chance Mr Master Mac

De Bromhead commented, “I'm delighted with that. Lovely to get a winner here.

“We always enjoy having a winner at Tramore. I'm delighted for Pimlico, they are a great syndicate. Great supporters of ours. Really well run by Tom (Raine) and Nathaniel (Barnett). We hoped this might happen tonight.”
