Echoing Silence (6/5 fav) was another winner for the red-hot combination of Henry de Bromhead and Darragh O'Keeffe when taking the mares' maiden hurdle  at Cork.

The daughter of Doyen, in the Honeysuckle colours of Kenny Alexander, improved to lead before the second-last and stayed on well to beat Divaboriva by six lengths.

Winning trainer Henry de Bromhead, completing a double along with O'Keeffe after Mister Pessimistic in the opener, said: "She was disappointing in her first run over hurdles at Navan last year but afterwards all she did was grow. We bought her as a four-year-old and she came very highly recommended by Sam Curling.

"She just grew so we backed off her, Kenny was really patient, in fairness to him, and we went to the bumper (at Down Royal) in the spring. She has come back twice the mare this year and she is a gorgeous mare.

"She was really professional and travelled well throughout. We all dream of being at the Cheltenham festival, it's where we dream and want to be, and while it's a long way away, we are delighted with how this mare has started here."
