Deauville heads Royal Lodge six Aidan O'Brien's exciting colt Deauville heads a small but select field of six for Saturday's Juddmonte Royal Lodge Stakes at Newmarket. The son of Galileo is unbeaten in his two starts to date, including a Group Three. He runs in the colours of Fitri Hay, who owns him in a partnership with Coolmore and will be ridden by Ryan Moore. Taking him on and with an identical two from two record is John Gosden's Highclere-owned Foundation. Hugely impressive in a winning a Listed race last time out, he is the mount of Frankie Dettori. Peter Chapple-Hyam's Beast Mode, winner of a Newcastle maiden, Richard Hannon's Humphrey Bogart, second in a sales race at Doncaster, the Mark Johnston-trained Sixth Sense and Barry Hills' Muntazah complete the field.
