Defy Logic a big blow to Nolan Paul Nolan expects Defy Logic to return to training on schedule for a full campaign next season. The Grade 1 Chase winner injured a tendon on the gallops in September. It was a huge blow to the yard when the Grade One winner was ruled out for this term and while Defy Logic recuperates at owner JP McManus' Martinstown Stud, Nolan feels no news in good news. "He went to Martinstown and is getting well looked after," said Nolan. "He's been away for a good few months now but for a yard like ours, down on numbers, it has hit us hard. "You need the odd good one to keep you going through the winter. "As long as we don't hear of anything I'm taking that as good news. "He'll be back next season and I hope we can get him back to the horse he was but of course we won't know that until we get plenty of work into him "
