Defy Logic excites Nolan Paul Nolan is excited about sending Defy Logic over fences this season. While his debut over bigger obstacles may be delayed by the unseasonably quick ground, he has been schooling well at home. Given he was able to finish second in two Grade Two novice hurdles, and in one of those to Annie Power, Nolan has every right to be excited. "He will go over fences this season but we won't be starting him off until there is plenty of juice in the ground," said Nolan. "We are very pleased with the way he's been schooling over fences but it will all depend now on getting some rain before he makes his reappearance. "He did well over hurdles last season and is one to look forward to over fences."
