Philip Dempsey is considering a tilt at the €100,000 Barberstown Castle Handicap Chase with Seskin Flash at Leopardstown’s Dublin Racing Festival (DRF) next Saturday.

“We were thinking about running at Fairyhouse this weekend, but my first choice would be to go to the Dublin Racing Festival,” said Dempsey.

"He was fourth there (Leopardstown, Christmas) and probably deserves a shot at it (DRF).”

The seven-year-old son of Derby winner Workforce won a beginners' chase at Downpatrick and subsequently went close at Down Royal before making the frame over course and distance on St Stephen’s Day.

There are 20 entries for the Barberstown Castle Handicap Chase and Seskin Flash has been allotted 10st.
