Denman Swerves Weekend Action Denman will not be seen this weekend in either the bet365 Charlie Hall Chase at Wetherby or the Colin Parker Memorial Intermediate Chase at Carlisle as connections wait for softer ground.Unbeaten in five starts over fences last season, the imposing seven-year-old gained his most notable success in the Royal & SunAlliance Novices' Chase at the Cheltenham Festival.Denman is as low as 4-1 with Stan James and Coral for the Gold Cup after those exploits, but his supporters will have to wait a little longer before seeing him in racecourse action again.Nicholls told At The Races: 'Denman's not going to have an entry this weekend - we're just going to wait for it to rain.'It looks a dry week and the ground is only good there at the moment.
