Domination has Cesarewitch aim Domination is being lined up for a tilt at the Betfred Cesarewitch at Newmarket following his resounding victory over hurdles at Cork on Monday. Having been narrowly denied at the Galway Festival last week, Charles Byrnes' charge stepped up to three miles for the first time at Cork and came home with eight lengths in hand, despite being heavily eased. The six-year-old could return to Cork later this month, but the Cesarewitch on October 12th is his major aim. Domination was a most impressive winner in Newmarket's Cesarewitch Trial last September. Byrnes said: "He won well and he obviously stays very well. "We're looking at the English Cesarewitch for him now. There is a chance he could go back to Cork first as there is another race there in two and a half weeks. "The ground is important to him. If it was soft he wouldn't run anywhere. "He's not a winter horse, so he'll probably have a break later on in the year." Byrnes also provided an update on stable star Solwhit, who is still enjoying his summer break. After an absence of almost two years, the nine-year-old returned to win the World Hurdle at Cheltenham and the Liverpool Hurdle at Aintree in the spring. He signed off his campaign by finishing second in the French Champion Hurdle in June and is unlikely to be in action again until the festive period. Byrnes said: "Everything is good with him, but I think it will be another three weeks before we bring him back (into training). "If all goes well I think he'll run around Christmas time."
