Pampar Lady recorded back-to-back successes when landing the Tom Lynam Memorial Handicap Hurdle at Kilbeggan.

The Gavin Cromwell-trained mare had opened her account at Cork earlier in the month and went to post a 7/2 shot to follow up.

Keith Donoghue got a lovely run through on the inner to challenge over the last and the Malinas mare stayed on well in the closing stages to post a two-length success over Malbas

Troy Cullen, race planner for Cromwell, said afterwards:-

“We’re delighted for the owners who have been very patient with her.

“She’s a nice mare. She got a fall last year and maybe lost her confidence a little bit.

“We always knew she’s win a few when things fell right for her.

“Keith gave her a great ride today. The gap opened up on the inside and he wasn’t long about taking it.

“Hopefully she’ll take another step forward and come back again for something similar. I’d be very hopeful that there might be another on in her.”

Donoghue was completing a quick double having won on Catena Zapata in the preceding race, for his brother Ian.
