Ian Donoghue is eyeing Aintree with Break My Soul after she showed up well on her first start for the yard last month.

The Doyen mare chased home the exciting Kitzbuhel in the Red Mills Trial Hurdle at Gowran Park, picking up black-type in the Grade 3 event.

Donoghue is now thinking about pitching her in at the top level at the Liverpool venue.

"We were delighted with her and she will improve plenty from the run in Gowran,” said the Meath handler.

“We hadn't even galloped her, we just went there to get her black-type. She jumped the last and took a blow.

"She is going to Aintree - that's the idea with her, she'll either go for a handicap or a Grade One.

"I'd be tilting towards the Grade One, Keith (Donoghue) is probably tilting towards the handicap! We will decide closer to the time, she will be entered in both."
