Donoghue readying his troops for the autumn Amongst the winners at Downpatrick on Friday, Ian Donoghue is looking forward to getting some of his stable favourites back in action as the autumn jumps and point-to-points kicks into gear. Based in Clonalvy Co Meath, Donoghue sent out 23 winners last term and Sea Of Doubt's victory up north moved him on to eight winners for the new campaign. "We will give Dunboyne (third in the Troytown last November) another month. He'll come back in and, if he's all right, he might go back open point-to-pointing with us. If not, he will be retired. "He's sound as a pound, he obviously just gave his leg a little bit of a bang, so he would want to be 110 per cent for us to run him again. If not, he will probably go Racehorse to Riding Horse. "It is Hunt Certs time for Lisnamult Lad and I A Connect. They are going to back open point-to-pointing this year. "The likes of Royal Gladiator and Pat's Legacy are going to start chasing. "Vaureal might go to Cheltenham in October. If he doesn't go there in October, he will probably go there in November for the cross country." Additional reporting by Michael Graham
