Down Royal unraceable at present

Ahead of its high-profile two-day fixture on Friday and Saturday, the track at Down Royal is currently unraceable following a further inch of rain overnight.

There will be a further update on Thursday morning.

The news is better at Thurles where they are due to race tomorrow.

The going is Soft on both the hurdle and chase courses after 6mm of rain overnight.

The forecast is for a further 5mm of rain (approx) prior to racing. No weather warning is currently in place for the Thurles area and therefore no inspection is planned at present. The situation is being continually monitored.
