Downpours forecast for Downpatrick

Following 22mm of rain and some drying days since entries the ground at Downpatrick remains yielding to soft, soft in places ahead of Sunday's card.

The course stage their big meeting of the year with the Randox Ulster National the feature contest.

According to Met Eireann, up to 25mm of rain is forecast between now and midday tomorrow. It is set to be mainly dry thereafter.

Following 5mm of rain overnight Leopardstown remains soft ahead of Sunday's classic trials card.

Further rain is expected through Friday and into Saturday (approximately 10-15mm).

It is set to be mainly dry on Sunday.

The forecast is for showers and sunny spells into next week ahead of next Wednesday's fixture at the venue.
