Drama and Mountain stand Lockinge ground Endless Drama and Cougar Mountain are among 18 horses in contention for Saturday's Al Shaqab Lockinge Stakes at Newbury. The Ger Lyons-trained Endless Drama has been off the track since chasing home Gleneagles in the Irish 2,000 Guineas last year, whereas Cougar Mountain ran only on Sunday, finishing a narrow second in the Amethyst Stakes at Leopardstown. Henry Candy's Limato, who was last seen finishing second in the Prix de la Foret over seven furlongs, could have his first run over a mile, while m an of the moment Hugo Palmer could run Home Of The Brave, who was impressive over seven furlongs on his return to action at Leicester. Toormore and Dutch Connection, first and second in the Sandown Mile, could meet again, along with fourth-placed Belardo. John Gosden's Mahsoob, winner of the nine-furlong Earl of Sefton Stakes at Newmarket on his return, could be joined by stablemate GM Hopkins. Clive Cox's Kodi Bear, Peter Chapple-Hyam's Arod and the classy fillies Amazing Maria and Euro Charline are among others still engaged.
