Dress Rehearsal Salisbury Possibility

David Wachman could have his first runner at Salisbury with Dress Rehearsal in Wednesday's EBF Upavon Fillies' Stakes on Wednesday.

The County Tipperary handler is considering the Listed event for his Lancashire Oaks sixth due to the current wet conditions in Ireland.

"We've entered Dress Rehearsal in the Upavon Fillies' Stakes and she's definitely a possibility for the race because she likes good ground and there isn't much of it in Ireland at the moment," said Wachman.

"The ground was certainly a contributing factor when she was beaten at Haydock but you have to give credit to Anna Pavlova, who is a very good horse in her own right.

"She ran all right there but the ground was too soft for her liking. She's a better horse in decent going.

"She took on older horses for the first time there and I think it's the right time of year for three-year-olds to tackle the older generation.

"She won her maiden over 10 furlongs and a Listed contest over 11 furlongs so we have no concern about dropping her back down in distance at Salisbury.

"We would be hopeful of a good run if she lines up and it's definitely in the mix at the moment."
