Dubai on agenda for Bethany Pat Shanahan pitches Bethany Bay into Group company again when the Dylan Thomas filly lines up in the Group 3 Japan Racing Association Sceptre Stakes at Doncaster on Thursday. The three-year-old was second in a competitive Curragh handicap on her last start back in June having taken her maiden on her previous visit to the UK when scoring at Chester in May. It will be her second attempt in a group race having failed to make any impression in the Athasi Stakes earlier in the season. Shanahan has revealed that the race tomorrow will be her final start before being prepared to race in Dubai:- "She's in good form and this is probably her last run before she goes to Dubai. Her owner lives over there and she's going to race over there in the winter. "She's still improving and her last run at the Curragh (second to Eastern Rules) was very good."
