Ryan, who trains the seven-year-old for partners James Woods, A M Ryan, Donie Culloty and D Enright, was leading up and left it to rider Gary Noonan to explain "That was a lovely first run for Colm. He bought him out of a sale, a horse that has good previous form. "His mark looked appealing, he took a chance and bought him. "His first run here today, you couldn't be happier with him. "The only thing I thought was a concern today was maybe the ground. His form is kind of on heavier ground at tough tracks, so I wasn't going to let it turn into a sprint - it was going to be a dogfight if it was going to be anything."
