Stamina won the day for 15-8 favourite Mandatario in the 32Red.com Race at Dundalk.

Very little changed in the four-runner affair until Mandatario's main market rival Shalaman moved up to front-runner Modem towards the end of the back straight.

Shalaman set sail for home shortly after turning in and cleared away by a couple of lengths, but this was his first crack at two miles and Mandatario saw it out much better, sweeping past inside the final furlong to triumph by a length and a quarter.

That kicked off a brace for Jim Bolger and Kevin Manning, completed when Bridle Path made it fourth-time lucky in the Big Bad Bob Fillies Maiden.

Despite boasting a rating of just 62, the daughter of Teofilo went off the 2-1 favourite, although her supporters were made to sweat, with Manning leaving it late before storming down the outside to beat Lunada by a length.< Russian Soul is usually enjoying the desert sun out in Dubai at this time of year but proved himself equally happy on home soil by landing the Weatherbys General Stud Book Handicap.

The 7-1 chance was switched around the heels of the leading bunch between the two- and the one-furlong marker and finished over the top of them to beat Togoville by half a length.

Trainer Mick Halford and jockey Conor Hoban followed up Russian Soul's success with Roman Impero (7-4) in the 32Red Casino Race.

The progressive son of Holy Roman Emperor collared British raider Turbine who was sent off the 4-7 favourite, in the final 100 yards and stretched nicely clear to prevail by a length and a quarter.

Halford completed a treble thanks to Temasek Star (9-2) in the Irishinjuredjockeys.com Handicap.< Strategic Heights (11-4 favourite) is a specialist over the minimum distance at this venue and repeated his victory of 2014 in the www.dundalkstadium.com Handicap.< Rose Angel attracted strong market support ahead of the Weatherbys Printing Handicap and did the business as the 2-1 favourite.
