Dundalk set for 20th anniversary celebrations Dundalk Stadium is set to celebrate it's 20th anniversary next Wednesday, having opened it's doors on the 29th of November 2003. The Louth venue is the only all-weather racecourse in Ireland and one of the only dual-purpose racecourses in Europe, staging both horse and greyhound racing. Over the past two decades, the racecourse has grown and now boasts over 40 horse fixtures a year and two greyhound fixtures weekly.
