Dunlop condition improves English trainer John Dunlop is 'comfortable and making progress' after undergoing a stomach operation last week, it was confirmed today.In a statement to PA Sport, Dunlop`s wife Sue said: 'Further to my previous statement, I confirm that John Dunlop was admitted to St Richard`s Hospital in Chichester on Monday November 12th suffering from severe pain.'After an assessment, he underwent a successful operation to repair a ruptured abdominal aortic aneurysm.'He is comfortable and making steady progress on a general ward.'The hospital is pleased with his recovery and anticipate that if it continues at the same pace, he will be discharged in one or two weeks.'I would again like to thank every one for their kindness and concern and to thank the staff at St Richard`s Hospital.'
