Dynaste Impresses in Mildmay Dynaste atoned for a disappointment at Cheltenham with victory in the John Smith's Mildmay Novices' Chase at Aintree. Tom Scudamore had been notably bullish ahead of the race and David Pipe's charge repaid his confidence with a convincing display of fencing. Super Duty and Rocky Creek attempted to make the running but both were cast aside as the race began in earnest and having sat off just off the early pace, Third Intention and Dynaste were asked to produce their challenges. Joe Tizzard was first to commit and booted his mount into a clear lead with two to jump but his moment of glory wasn't to last for long as Scudamore effortlessly produced the winner before the last and soon had the measure of his challenger. Sky Bet reacted with quotes of 16/1 for the Cheltenham Gold Cup about the winner and 7/1 (from 12/1) for the King George at Kempton.
