Educate Is Top of the Class for Murtagh Johnny Murtagh worked his big-race magic once again as Educate (8/1 favourite) hung on in a thrilling finish to land the Betfred Cambridgeshire for trainer Ismail Mohammed. Since beginning his training career, Murtagh has enjoyed a golden spell in the saddle, mopping up feature races for fun. After a few luckless runs this season, Educate finally enjoyed his day in the sun but he was made to wait for confirmation as Henry Candy's Code Of Honor flew home to be beaten just a short-head. Graphic burst clear under Frankie Dettori two furlongs out, but with half a furlong to go he was running on empty as Educate went clear, only for Code Of Honour to give his supporters a final scare. Tres Coronas was third - first home on the far side - with Graphic fourth and Seek Again fifth. Punters who placed an each-way bet with Sky Bet will also get paid out on sixth-home Dance And Dance. "When I rode him at Haydock a couple of starts ago, I thought he was a Group horse," said Murtagh. "He had a big weight here and it was a tough race, but he's done it well even though the ground was as quick as he would want it to be."
