Victory for Chatez in the Betfred Mobile Casino Silver Bowl Stakes at Haydock saw the Scoop6 landed by eight tickets after the bet amassed monstrous proportions having rolled over for 12 weeks.

A total of 122 tickets were still standing going into the last leg, and celebrations began after Fergus Sweeney drove the Alan King-trained 7-1 chance to a half-length success from Zarwaan. Only Grevillea of the 13 runners was not covered by a potential winning line.

Each successful ticket picked up £1,342,599 and is eligible to play for the bonus fund next Saturday, which stands at a further £5,481,763.

Last weekend, Ladbrokes punter Joe Maguire came within a length and a quarter of claiming just short of £7million for his £8 stake when denied in the last race of six in the bet at Catterick.

The total pot in Saturday's win pool was £10,740,797.
