Electric turn of foot from Kiyoshi Kiyoshi (8/1) ran out an impressive winner of the Albany Stakes at Royal Ascot despite drifting violently to her right in the closing stages. The Charlie Hills-trained winner showed a sparkling turn of foot to burst clear down the centre of the track approaching the furlong marker but then, with Jamie Spencer forced to ride on one rein, she headed towards the far rail. However she lost little momentum and was still clear of 7/4 favourite Sandiva, a fourth runner-up of the week for Richard Fahey. Frankel's half-sister Joyeuse (6/1) emerged with plenty of credit in third. "She's always been a very good filly, we've taken our time with her and really she wants seven furlongs or a mile. I think she has a bright future ahead of her. I hope the hanging was down to greenness, she didn't do it at Goodwood last time," the winning jockey told Channel Four Racing. Of the Irish representatives, Jim Bolger's Heart Focus finished fourth, Aidan O'Brien's Wonderfully was seventh, while Ken Condon's Sacred Aspect came in 12th
