Electrocutionist Set For Royal Assignment

Godolphin have confirmed Dubai World Cup winner Electrocutionist will be aimed at the Prince of Wales' Stakes at Royal Ascot following his brilliant Nad Al Sheba success last weekend.

Plans for the five-year-old were fluid after he defied his stall-one draw to defeat Brass Hat by a length and a half, but connections have now decided to have a crack at the 10-furlong Group One contest in June.

The decision sets up a mouth-watering clash with Brian Meehan's Dubai Duty Free winner David Junior, although Sheikh Mohammed's operation have yet to name a target for UAE Derby winner Discreet Cat.

'Electrocutionist is being aimed for the Prince of Wales' Stakes at Royal Ascot on June 21 and Discreet Cat's plans will be confirmed in due course,' said a statement on www.godolphin.com.

'They have been tack-walking at their Al Quoz base in Dubai and in the course of the next month will be shipped to Europe and America respectively for their exciting summer campaigns.'
