Elliott Books Rosario For Beckford Trainer Gordon Elliott has engaged the services of Joel Rosario for Beckford in Friday night's Juvenile Turf in Del Mar on the opening evening of the Breeders' Cup weekend. Elliott who continues to go toe-to-toe with Willie Mullins on the domestic National Hunt front will travel over to California this week as he goes in search of a first top level win on the Flat. Elliott told the Irish Times: "Joel Rosario rides and the horse is in good form. Lisa O'Neill is out there with him and everything seems to be good." The Newtown Anner Stud owned two-year-old will run with the aid of Lasix. Rosario who hails from the Dominican Republic has been a top rider in the US for the last ten years and has tasted Breeders' Cup success as recently as last year when he partnered outsider Tourist to win the Turf Mile.
