Emperor Gets National Chance

Native Emperor will line up for tomorrow´s John Smith´s Grand National at Aintree following the late withdrawal of rank outsider Turnium this morning.

Jonjo O´Neill´s charge was first reserve for the four-and-a-half-mile marathon and will now run as Turnium was taken out before the 9.30am deadline.

But Native Emperor´s three fellow reserves, A Piece Of Cake, Longshanks and Supreme Glory all miss out.

Dominic Elsworth will take the mount on O´Neill´s charge, a 40-1 chance with Coral despite being a former Cheltenham Festival winner.
