Enforcer Could Be York-Bound

Enforcer could bid to break his Group One duck in next month's Juddmonte International Stakes at York.

The Knavesmire feature on August 22 is an option for the admirable four-year-old after his two-and-three-quarter-length fourth behind Hurricane Run in Ascot's King George VI And Queen Elizabeth Diamond Stakes.

That was Enforcer's second crack at the highest level after his highly-creditable third in the Coronation Cup, and trainer William Muir is delighted with his charge.

'He's in brilliant form. I have never known a horse come out of his races in such good form ? he's bouncing,' said the Lambourn handler.

'We are absolutely delighted with the horse. I knew we wouldn't just be there for the place money, I knew he could mix it with them and he just got beat by three better horses.'
