English Challengers head to Punchestown Sunday's Durkan Chase at Punchestown will have an international flavour with two English trained runners on their way to the Co. Kildare venue. Commenting earlier today Paul Nicholls said "We are really looking forward to returning to Punchestown and this race was always on the cards for Noland. The horse travels with The Listener to Ireland today". Commenting on the race itself Nicholls said "it looks to be a very competitive race. The ground won't effect our horse as he won on similar at Down Royal. Sam Thomas will ride". The pair will have to cope with War Of Attrition amoungst others if they are to win the ?100,000 race. The ground at Punchestown is currently heavy following 20mm of overnight rain. A more settled weekend is forecast.
