English options for Thady Ken Condon may have a look at options in England for Bold Thady Quill. The eight-year-old showed when he was third in the Irish Cambridgeshire on his penultimate outing that he retains all of his ability. Last time out when he was slowly away as usual, he found seven furlongs a bit sharp on Irish Champions Weekend but he still was not beaten far by Kelinni in the Sovereign Path Handicap. "Everyone knows him by now, he's always slowly away," said Condon. "Over seven furlongs it makes a real difference and especially at Leopardstown. At the Curragh he can get back into it a bit better. "There's not much left for him at home now, he's in the Concorde Stakes but that's seven furlongs again. "We might travel with him. He ran in the Balmoral at Ascot last year but he hasn't qualified this time. "He likes soft ground so if there's a suitable race in England for him somewhere we could have a look at that."
