Ervedya eyes clash with elders Ervedya is set to take on her elders in the Prix Rothschild at Deauville on August 2 following her victory at Royal Ascot. The three-year-old, trained by Jean-Claude Rouget, showed she was one of the best fillies of her generation over a mile when adding the Coronation Stakes to her victory in the French 1000 Guineas. She is reported to have taken everything in her stride and will now be aimed at the prestigious prize for fillies and mares. "She is back in Pau (at Rouget's stables) and back into her routine. She took the race extremely well," said Georges Rimaud, manager of the French Studs of owner the Aga Khan. "The Prix Rothschild is her likely next race."
