Andre Fabre is "delighted" with Esoterique ahead of Saturday's Kingdom Of Bahrain Sun Chariot Stakes, for which she was supplemented.

The Newmarket Group One has been a happy hunting ground for the French in recent years, although that is partly down to the fact that Rod Collet's Sahpresa won it three times between 2009 and 2011.

It is slightly surprising that Fabre did not have the Prix Jacques le Marois winner already entered but the fact he was prepared to supplement to give her another opportunity back against her own sex looks ominous for her rivals

Fabre could also run last year's 1000 Guineas winner Miss France, narrowly beaten on her comeback from a long absence at Longchamp.

"The plan is for Esoterique to run and I am told that the ground is likely to be good. She is training well and I am delighted with her at the moment," said Fabre.

"I am hesitating over running Miss France in the Sun Chariot or going for the Prix de l'Opera the following day. She could still be a bit short of her peak fitness.

"I am very fond of Newmarket because the ground there is much better than anywhere else, especially at this time of year.

"I also like the straight course - races there tend to be fairly-run and there are no excuses."

Another filly supplemented on Monday was Realtra, to make a potential field of 10.

Realtra has been a revelation since joining Roger Varian's stable from Richard Fahey when sold for £290,000 at Goffs London Sales in June.

She has won both her starts, the Listed Dick Hern Fillies' Stakes at Haydock and the Group Three Sceptre Stakes at Doncaster, to earn her chance at the top level.

Integral, trained by Sir Michael Stoute, bids to bounce back after being below par when fifth of six to Amazing Maria in the Duke of Cambridge Stakes at Royal Ascot.

As well as the Fabre pair there are two other French contenders in the Carlos Laffon-Parias-trained Bawina and Maimara from Mikel Delzangles' stable.

Matron Stakes fourth Raydara, trained by Mick Halford, is the sole Irish representative, while Barry Hills' Fadhayyil, Martyn Meade's Irish Rookie and Malabar, trained by Mick Channon, complete the list.
