Europe gearing up for chase campaign Henry De Bromhead is confident stable star Sizing Europe can return to action in top form. The seven-year-old raced only four times last term but ended the campaign on a high, winning a beginners' chase at Punchestown in May. He is pleasing connections with the new season approaching, the trainer telling At The Races: "We're really pleased with him. Last year things didn't go right but he's really good this year. He''s moving great, looking great and we're delighted wtih him." De Bromhead confirmed a chasing campaign is very much the plan, although they will resist the temptation to step up in trip - for now. "I'd say we'd stick to two, two-and-a-half miles and see how we get on. He's an Irish Champion Hurdle winner over two miles so obviously has plenty of pace," he added. "Even his run prior to the win over fences last season was a fabulous one. He was only beaten four lengths by Solwhit and Punjabi at Punchestown and was coming back from having a really messed up spring. "What we've decided is to stick to two, two-and-a-half at the moment. He could possibly return at Punchestown in the middle of October in a two mile two furlong novice chase but nothing's confirmed."
