Eyeconic collects in Navan maiden Goffs Million also-ran Eyeconic (6s — 7/2) got off the mark on her fourth attempt today, landing Navan’s Irish Stallion Farms EBF Maiden for trainer Fozzy Stack and jockey Seamie Heffernan. The Starspangledbanner-filly had finished out of the prizemoney positions in twelfth (of 18) in the valuable Curragh in September and today, reverting to a maiden, battled to an all-out short-head success over Spirit Of The Nite . Afterwards Stack said "it was a drop in class, as she ran well in the (Goffs) 'Million' for a long way but didn't get home and petered out. "Hopefully, she will make up into a nice sprinter and Seamie thought she is still a bit green. That's it for the season and I'd imagine we could get her going early next year, and see where we end up." Quotes from Michael Graham
