Fabulous week for McConnell & Harvey After a 27-minute delay due to a heavy, thundery downpour, racing resumed at Wexford with race five which was the Traynors Of Wexford Mares Maiden Hurdle over three miles. It resulted in victory for Something Wonderful (4/1) who gave trainer John McConnell and jockey AlexHarvey a third maiden hurdle winner in five days. The daughter of Getaway, owned by Pimlico Racing Ireland, won a bumper at Tramore a year ago and was third at the same track on hurdling debut earlier this month.  Tracking the leaders and travelling well on the home turn, the winner made headway to lead jumping the last and had a length and a quarter to spare over Star Cave.  “I’m happy with that. She probably needed the run the last day and I probably rode her wrong as well, to be honest," said Harvey. “I took a lead today and she handled the ground lovely. “She ran a little bit in snatches with me but I got a lovely split at the back of the second-last and she took it very well and hit the line well.” Additional reporting by Gary Carson
